Clifford Bostic

Clifford Duane Bostic, 60, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on April 19, 1966, in Ronceverte, West Virginia. Clifford was the son of Tommy Bostic and Doris Mines.

Clifford was a devoted family man who took great pride in the people he loved. His family was at the heart of everything he did. He will be remembered for the love, dedication, and time he gave to those closest to him.

Clifford is preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Bostic and Doris Mines, brother Brian Bostic, and granddaughter Ivy Bostic.

Clifford is survived by his son, Garrett (Brenley) Bostic; daughter, Samantha Bostic; sister, Regina Miller; grandchildren Bristol Burns, Colter Bostic and Reece Bostic; half-siblings, Tressa (Kenny) Bird and McKayla Bostic; and many loving nieces and nephews who cared deeply for him. He is also survived by David (Sherry) Ryder and family; Jimmie (Teresa) Hylton and family; Danny (Jeannie) Hanna and family, all of whom were special friends that he considered to be family.

Clifford was also deeply dedicated to the logging industry from the time he graduated from High School at Greenbrier East until his death. It was a profession that he took great pride in, along with the hardworking life that came with it. He was a devoted employee of David L. Ryder Contracting for the last 30 plus years.

Outside of work, Clifford enjoyed the simple things that fulfilled his life with happiness; hunting, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren. Throughout his life Clifford spent many years coaching softball and football. Through coaching, he had the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of countless young players, sharing not only his knowledge of the game but also his time, encouragement, and guidance.

Clifford will be remembered as a hardworking man, a dedicated family member, and friend to many. The memories he created with the many lives he touched will be cherished forever.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Per Clifford’s wishes, there will be no service, and the family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
