Roena Piercy

Roena Mae Piercy, 77, of Lewisburg passed away on August 29, 2026 at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.

She was born January 14, 1949 in Ronceverte and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Nellie Lewis Long.

Roena was a member of the Ronceverte Church of God and was a retired civilian worker for the U. S. Navy.

She is survived by her husband Cecil E. Piercy; son Timothy Hinkle of Lewisburg; grandchildren Shawn Vincent Hinkle and Kayden Matthew Hinkle; sister, Bonnie Petree (Noel) of Clements, MD.; brothers, Alfred Long II (Karen) of Renick, WV., and Ronnie Long of Front Royal, VA.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday September 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Bob Daniels officiating, interment will follow at the Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.

The family will receive family and friends on Thursday September 3, 2026 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
