Connie Sue Lee, 63, went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2026. She was born on February 14, 1963, and spent her life devoted to her family, her community, and caring for others.
Connie was married to the love of her life, Robert Lee, for 37 wonderful years. Together they built a life centered around love, faith, and family.
She was a devoted mother to her children, Adam (Kenna), Rebecca (Corey), and Trisha (TJ). Connie was also a proud and loving grandmother to Violet, Griffin, and Lincoln Lee, who were truly the pride and joy of her life.
She is also survived by her mother Joyce May (Brandstetter) Critchley, siblings: Butch Brandstetter; John (Theresa) Critchley; Ricky (Penny) Critchley; Roger (Bridget) Critchley; Shirley (Mike) Hatcher; Gary Critchley; and Bea (Wayne) Legg; sister-in-law Anna (David) and brother -in-law
James (Angie), and many cherished nieces and nephews
She was proceeded in death by her father John Henry Critchley.
Connie was known for her love of children and her natural ability to care for others. She worked as a certified LPN and touched many lives through her compassion and dedication. In addition to nursing, she was the proud owner of Mt. Cove Country Store, where she enjoyed serving her community.
Connie also had a special love for gardening and flowers, and she found joy in nurturing them just as she did the people around her. Her kindness, caring and giving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her memory will live on through the many lives she touched and through the family she loved so
dearly.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace
Funeral Chapel in Ansted, WV. Family and friends may visit with the family from 12 noon until
time of the funeral. Interment will follow at the Lee Family Cemetery, at 23523 Midland Trail
Rt. 60 Mountain Cove.
Following graveside service, friends and family are invited for fellowship and remembrance
at adjoining family residence to the cemetery. Fellowship will continue through the afternoon and evening.
