Clemon Knapp

Clemon Randall Knapp passed away peacefully at his home on September 19th 2026 in Roanoke, Va with his loving wife of 57 years, Judy, by his side.

Randall was born in Rainelle, WV, on May 4, 1946, to the late Clemon and Zella Knapp of Meadow Bluff.

In addition to his wife Judy, Randall is survived by his three sons: Randy (Amy) Knapp of Meadow Bluff, Jason (Robyn) Knapp of Biloxi, MS and Gerald (Kenda) Knapp of Roanoke.

He is also survived by his seven grandchildren who were his pride and joy. Granddaughters: Anna (Chase), Annabell, Hailey, Madison, Charlee and Emma and one grandson, Jacob.

Surviving siblings include Sue Robinson of Clintonville and Brenda Lewis (Frank) of Hines. Randall also had many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

Randall graduated from Rupert High School in 1964 and was a truck driver for 46 years. He drove locally in Greenbrier County while raising his sons but in his later years was able to drive all over the United States and into Canada which allowed him to visit many places and meet many people which he enjoyed immensely.

Randall was also a proud Army veteran and a Freemason. He served 24 years in the 811th Ordinance Company in Rainelle, retiring in 1991 and received his 50-year pin from the Midland Trail Masonic Lodge 166 in August of 2025.

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle with Brittany O’Neil officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 1:00 until time of service at the funeral home.

Burial will be at 3:00 on Friday, September 25, 2026 at Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin, Virginia, with military honors.
