Elvin “Doc” Stanley

Elvin “Doc” Lee Stanley, 75, of Rupert passed away on Wednesday evening, December 3, 2025 at his home.

He was born on July 28, 1950; he was the son of the late Ernie Lee Stanley and Arbana Emiline Murphy Stanley.

Doc is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sandy Brackenrich Stanley in 2021; five sisters, Zeda, Grace, Zela, Zena and Linda; four brothers, Eldon, Jessie, Melvin and an infant brother, Ernest Lee.

Elvin was a member of the Faith Baptist Church of Rupert. He had worked as a carpenter. His greatest enjoyment was that he loved family reunions.

Those left to cherish his memory are one sister, Zenetta (David) Adkins; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

He will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
