Roy Eldon Fields, 78, of Nettie passed away on November 25, 2025 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.He was born on March 25, 1947 at Richwood; he was the son of the late Marley Delt Fields and Anna Bell Martin.He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda Fields; sisters: Marie Fields and Virginia Synder; brothers: Delmas Fields, Landis “Buck” Fields, Arlie “Smokey” Fields, and Lundy Fields.Survivors include daughters: Amanda (Jason) Davis, Marsha (Todd) Russell; sons: Anthony (Loretta) Fields, Eric Fields; grandchildren: Danielle Sasso, Christopher Fields, James Murphy, Skyler Davis, Blaine Davis, Grant Russell, Tyler Barnhouse, Layla Russell, Nade Russell; great-grandchildren: Grady Sasso, and Addy Murphy.Roy was a member of the UMWA and Potomac Highlands Wounded Warriors Outreach. He loved hunting, fishing, and playing with his grandchildren. An equipment operator by trade, he worked in the woods and on strip mines.Services will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Wallace & Wallace, Rainelle at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Bradley Boyce officiating. Fleshman, 82, of Rainelle, WV, passed away on November 25, 2025.Jim was born to Rema Fleshman and raised by his grandparents Arthur and Lottie Fleshman.In addition to his mother and grandparents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Jerry Fleshman, Wayne, Randy, and Lucky Zopp; one sister, Linda Zopp; and one daughter, Stephanie Redden.Those left to cherish his memory are three sisters, Patricia Fleshman Newman, Diania McShain, Shelby Wood; one brother, Rick Zopp; one son, Jim (Toni) Fleshman of Ronceverte; one daughter, Shelli (Tommy) Fleshman of Dawson; four grandchildren, Kami, Adam, Kain, Jacqueline (J.J.); and five great grandchildren.Jim was a member of Sewell Valley Baptist Church. Larry Thomas Lilly, 82, of Lewisburg, WV. formerly of Mullins, WV., passed away on November 24, 2025 at the Lewisburg Healthcare Center with his family by his side.He was born January 5, 1943 in Winamac, IN and was the son of the late Roy G. and Bettye Maas Lilly.Larry was known for his deep love of God, church, family, and country, he was meticulous in all things, possessed of a kind, gentle, loving and helpful nature, and always putting others before himself.Larry was a graduate of Mullins High School; Concord College, BS 1967 Advertising Design, Commercial Arts and a member of Phi Alpha Chi, Phi Beta Lambda, Circle K Cub, Drama Club, Art Club, Student Govt Association, Interreligious Council, and Baptist Student Fellowship. Before and during college he was employed by the West Virginia State Roads Commission and G.C. Murphy Company, then for 34 years in US government national security as a graphics and imagery analyst within the Central Intelligence Agency, Washington, DC, (1967-1978) and the Foreign Science and Technology Center, Charlottesville, VA (1978-2002).He was very active in his service in the church as a Deacon, choir member, Sunday School teacher, youth worker, and Bible Study Leader in 3 churches over nearly 60 years (Hillandale Baptist Church, Free Union Baptist Church and First Baptist Church Fairlea)., volunteered in the Lewisburg Lions Club and National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE); and enjoyed nature walks, yardwork, fishing, reading, and spending time with his family.Larry is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Beulah Mae Elder Lilly; daughter Lisa Finley (husband James) of Griswold, CT; son Stephen Lilly of Salem, OR; grandsons Jonathan Finley of Seattle, WA, Samuel Finley (wife Madison) of Canterbury, CT., James Finley (wife Veronica) of Lisbon, CT; great-granddaughters Sadie Mae Finley (18 months), Avery Anne Finley (1 month); brother Terry Gene Lilly (wife Jane) of Barboursville, VA; multiple nieces and nephews.Funeral services for Mr. Lilly will be held Friday November 28, 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, interment will follow at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg.The family will receive family and friends on Friday November 28, 2025 from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Food Pantry (care of F. Colleen June Bennett Walton was called home on November 23, surrounded by her loving family, after a short stay under the compassionate care of Peyton House hospice.Born on February 22, 1928, in Thurmond, WV, to William and Margaret Reed Bennett, Colleen was the youngest of fifteen children and was cherished by each of her brothers and sisters.At just five years old, she met the boy who would become the love of her life, Hazle Walton. He went home that very day and told his mother he had met the girl he was going to marry. Colleen and Hazle were married on July 9, 1945, in Lewisburg, and together they built a life rooted in love, faith, and community. They settled in Greenbrier County, where they raised their six children in the place they both held dear.A devoted member of her community, Colleen generously gave her time and talents to many organizations, including the Ronceverte Woman’s Club, the Friends of the Ronceverte Library, the Progressive CEOs, the VFW Auxiliary, the Ronceverte River Festival Committee, and the Red Hat Society. She volunteered at the Greenbrier Classic PGA Tournament and served for many years on the Board of the Ronceverte Public Library. Colleen was also the last surviving charter member of the First Baptist Church of Fairlea, where she faithfully served as Sunday School secretary and was a proud member of the Lydia Sunday School class.Colleen was truly one of a kind. Energetic, warm, and endlessly fun, she made friends everywhere she went. She loved the West Virginia State Fair and proudly attended her 98th fair this year during its 100th anniversary. Bowling was one of her great passions—she bowled in league play until she was 94, served as league secretary, and traveled across the country with her teammates, competing in cities such as San Antonio, Reno, St. Louis, and Detroit.Her love of adventure extended well beyond bowling. Colleen traveled the world—twice—and was always ready to join friends or family on a trip, whether it involved a bus, a plane, or simply hopping in the car on a whim. She adored reading, treasured time spent playing games, and especially enjoyed a spirited hand of Canasta.Colleen is survived, loved, and deeply missed by her children: Eddie Walton of Fairlea; Sandi Whitaker of Lawrenceburg, KY; Shawn Walton of Ronceverte; Jeff Walton of Ronceverte; and Darla Fisher (Mike) of Frankford; her daughter-in-law, Deanna Walton; and her grandchildren: Russell Walton (Cindy), Robin Walton (Brandon), Lisa Whitaker (Matt Conrad), Jennifer Walton, Brittany Fisher, Jason Fisher, Dudley Walton, and Drew Walton; granddaughter-in-law Anita Whitaker; great-grandchildren Joeseph and Shane Walton, Adrianna Shockley, Logan Whitaker, Nora Wilburn, Oscar and Odin Conrad, and Foxx Wells; great-great-grandson Justin Shockley; and a large circle of beloved nieces and nephews. She was also a cherished "Granny" to many who lovingly adopted her as their own.She was preceded in death by her husband, H.C. Walton; her daughter, Dede Walton; her son-in-law, Ron Whitaker; daughter-in-law, Sandie Walton; grandson, Ron Whitaker; her sisters Edith, Helen, and Jessie Bennett, and Carrie Erskine; and her brothers Forrest, Bill, Charles, Wallace, Doug, Harry, Carl, Sherman, George, and Pete Bennett.Friends and family are invited to celebrate Colleen’s extraordinary life on Saturday, November 29.
