Dorris Holliday

Dorris Jean Holliday, 78, of Michigan, formerly of Danese, WV passed away on September 17, 2026 in Michigan.

She was born on May 6, 1948 in Danese; she was the daughter of the late Harold Wilson Simms and Dorris Lenore (Moore) Simms.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kermit Holliday; sister, Nancy Kathryn (Simms) Snidow.

Survivors include her daughters, Star Michelle (Todd) Vespie and Joyce Ann Holliday.

Her sister, Dianne Lilly, brother, Frank Simms and sister Mary Ballenger; several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. at Wallace & Wallace, Rainelle followed by a graveside service 12:00 p.m. at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
