David Woodrum

David Lee Woodrum, 81, of Ronceverte, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 2, 2026.

Born September 4, 1944, he was a son of the late Herbert Lewis Woodrum and Edith Pearl Brant Woodrum.

He was the last living member of his immediate family.

David knew and loved the Lord. He also loved his family, deer hunting, fishing, and NASCAR. Kyle Bush was his favorite driver.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amber Wright and 9 siblings. He was also preceded in death by his best friend, Jerry Bennett and a cousin, Raymond Woodrum.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of nearly 62 years, Glemma Baker Woodrum; two daughters, Gina Morgan (Mark) and Wanda Wright (Ernie); a son, David Wayne Woodrum (Alisha); his grandchildren, Dustin Crouch, Katrina Couch, Austin Woodrum, Jeffrey Wright and Nathan Woodrum; great grandchildren, Alex Wright, Zayne Crouch, Madelyn Crouch, Lilly Woodrum, Avery Crouch and Saylor Woodrum; and several nieces and nephews.

Per his wishes, David will be cremated and a celebration of Life service will be scheduled for a future date to be determined.
