Lucy V. Vance

Lucy V. Jones Vance, 92, of Caldwell, WV passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at Seneca Trail Healthcare Center.

Born February 12, 193 at Glace, WV, she was a daughter of the late Charles Fairbank Jones and Della Ellen Morse Jones.

Lucy was a homemaker and was a member of Second Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Vance; a son, Lee Roy Vance, Jr.,; two sisters, Mary Adwell and Louise Mentz; and a brother, Frank Jones.

Survivors include daughters, Vicky Pickering (Danny) of Frankford, Linda Allender (Doug) of Ronceverte and Liz Crislip (Rick) of Caldwell; a son, Charlie Robert Vance (Jennie) of Caldwell; grandchildren, Valerie Lint (Chet) Clarksville, TN, Candice Smith (Michael) of Caldwell, Crystal Holliday of Caldwell and Aaron Lee Vance (Tammy) of Charleston; several great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Highland Park Community Church, Second Creek, with Pastor Freddie Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
