Audrey “Cissy” Robinson

Audrey Laverne Jett Robinson, 94, of Orient Hill passed away on July 14, 2026 at Rainelle Healthcare Center.

She was born on May 12, 1932 at Brooke Station, VA; she was the daughter of the late Jesse James Jett and Elsie May Cornwell Jett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Clyde Robinson; sons, John C. Robinson, Gary R. Robinson; daughter, Cathy (Eddie) L. Myers; grandson, Charlie Myers; sisters, Sylvia Leggett, Jessie “Fritz” Neely, Leona Robinson and Arlene Price.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael (Bibby) Robinson of Crawley, WV, Tim (Lori) Robinson of Gorham, Maine, Shawn (Candice) Robinson of Lewisburg, WV; daughter-in-laws, LuAnn Robinson and Amanda Robinson; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; extended family.

She was affectionally known as Audrey, Cissy and Grandma. She was especially proud of the years she loved and cared for many children through Mountain Heart as well as the community and family. She was loved by every one of them. She was a member of Orient Hill Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for several years. She loved the Lord and loved her church family.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Rainelle Healthcare Center and all the staff. The family could have not asked for better care and love they each showed to her.

Per her request and wishes, she donated her body to the WV School of Osteopathic Medicine, Lewisburg. This was her one last act of kindness in the hope that it somehow be used to learn and help others.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
