Richard “Rick” Nelson

Richard “Rick” Gordon Nelson, 74, of Nettie passed away on June 5, 2026 at his home.

He was born on November 6, 1951 in Kanawha County; he was the son of the late James Gordon Nelson and Pauline Vickers Nelson.

He was in the Navy and worked in accounting.

Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth Nelson and a son, Kevin (Saturn) Nelson; grandchildren, Serenity Nelson and James Nelson.

There will be no service.
