Darrell Clevenger

Darrell Wayne Clevenger, 68, of Dawson, WV, passed peacefully after a short illness on June 4, 2026.

Born September 11, 1957, in Rainelle, WV, he was the son of the late Harold and Etta Clevenger.

Darrell was a 1975 graduate of Greenbrier West High School. He retired from Creative Fabrications, LLC. Darrell was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending quality time with his children and grandchildren, traveling to Florida for bike week, and working on his equipment.

In addition to his parents, Darrell is preceded in death by his wife, Polly Clevenger; daughter, Stephanie Redden, brother, Robert (Bob) Clevenger, and niece, Beth Thomas Lahmon.

Survivors include his children, Jim Fleshman (Toni) of Ronceverte, WV, and Shelli Fleshman (Tommy) of Dawson, WV; two sisters, Ann Thomas and Ada Williams (Richard); two brothers, Donald Clevenger (Phyllis) and Calvin (Bud) Clevenger (Ramona); four grandchildren, Kami (Allison), Kain (Myranda), Adam, and Jacqueline; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Services will be held at Wallace & Wallace in Rainelle, WV, on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
