Gregory Skaggs

Gregory Paul Skaggs, I passed away from this life at his residence on May 16, 2026. Greg

worked as a factory worker/ supervisor in manufacturing.

Gregory was born on November 30, 1965 to Clarence “Butch” and Ruth Dempsey Skaggs.

Those who preceded him in death are his grandparents Robert and Claudia Dempsey,

father, Clarence “Butch” Skaggs and a daughter, Rebecca Skaggs.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Annetta McClung Skaggs, mother: Ruth

Skaggs, sons: Gregory Skaggs, II and Jack Skaggs, daughter: Jessica McClung, sisters:

Ruth Ann Church, Cathy Lyn Demitroff, brother: Robert Skaggs. Six grandchildren:

William Skaggs, Aubrie Skaggs, Gregory Skaggs, III, Heaven McClung, Isaiah Koch,

and Starla Koch.

A Funeral Service will be held at Ansted Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at

1:00 P.M., with Pastor Randy Spurgeon officiating. Family and friends may visit from

12 noon until time of the service.

The interment will be held at Restlawn Memory Gardens, Victor, West Virginia following

the Funeral Service.
