Lois Clay

Lois Ellen Clay, 64, of Ronceverte formerly of Alderson, passed away on May 2, 2026 at the Lewisburg Healthcare Center, Ronceverte.

She was born March 25, 1962 in Low Moor, VA. and was the daughter of the late Richard and Mary Meredith Clay.

Lois was of the Presbyterian Faith and was a housekeeper but was mostly a homemaker.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Marilyn Jackson.

Those left to mourn her passing are her son Weldon Sears of Alderson; daughter Jessica Clay of Covington, VA.; sister Iris Mullins of Radford, VA.; brother Lewis Clay of Franklin, NC.; special friend Debbie Hodge of Ronceverte; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday May 9, 2026 from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
