David E. Elkins

David Eugene Elkins, 71, passed away peacefully April 16, 2026, at Raleight General Hospital.

He was born October 4, 1954, to John K Elkins and Muriel N Kirby Elkins who preceded him in death. Also, to precede him in death are his siblings, Thelma Ramsey, Audrey Drennen, James “Jimmy” Elkins, and Linda Sturm.

David is also known as Frosty by friends and classmates.

He is survived by sisters: Janet Lewis of Ansted, Carolyn (Fred) Rogers of Gauley Bridge; brother, Mark (Kari) Elkins of Ansted; and many nieces and nephews.

He is to be cremated and his ashes rest at Restlawn Memory Gardens with his parents. No public services will be held.
