Norma G. Harvey went to be with the Lord on March 30, 2026. She died peacefully after a long battle with dementia.
Norma was born on July 5, 1935 in Marfrance, WV and was proceeded in death by her father, William H. Harvey and her mother, Wilma G. Harvey.
She was raised in Rupert, WV and moved to Cleveland, Ohio as a teenager. Norma worked for TRW in Cleveland for many years and then in the Hospitality industry, starting at The Greenbrier Resort. In 1999 Norma and her mom moved to New Port Richey, FL and lived there for over 20 years. She cared for her mom until her passing. Norma was a faith filled woman that Loved Jesus and was a member of the Greenbrier Valley Baptist Church and then a member of the New Port Richey Baptist Church where she sang in the choir with great joy.
Norma loved to shop, loved jewelry, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was generous with others and often helped any way she could. She raised her three sons in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Norma will be remembered for her love of family, her joyful spirit and the warmth she brought into every life she touched.
She is survived by sons, William Patton Hensley, (Tina Marie deceased), T.Michael Henstey (Donna) and Jeffery Allen Hensley, (Dianne). Norma’s legacy continues through five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Wallace Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, Clintonville with Pastor Kevin Altizer officiating. Burial will follow in the Wallace Memorial Cemtery. Friends may gather with the family from 10:00 until time of service at the mausoleum chapel.
