Ruth Osborne

Ruth Ann Osborne, 101, of Rainelle passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Autumn Way, Rupert.

She was born on July 1, 1924 in Lincoln Co., WV; she was the daughter of the late Raven R. Barker and Lena M. Mullins Barker.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Isaac Osborne in 2005; brothers Harry Barker and Denver Barker.

Ruth was a member of First Baptist Church of Rainelle where she served in different roles over the years and she also was a former member of Amwell Baptist Church of Rupert.

Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Becky (Larry) Crane of Elton; son, Hal (Laura) Osborne of Rainelle; sisters, Edna McPeek of Mt. Airy, NC and Shirley (Doug) Crawford of Burlington, NC; sister-in-law, JoAnna Osborne of South Charleston, WV; 4 grandchildren, Larry Paul Crane, Jonathan Crane, Isac Osborne, Emily Stacy; great grandchildren, Bo Osborne, Axel Osborne, Wyatt Stacy and Kayleigh Crane.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Lisa Skaggs and the staff of Autumn Way for their kindness, support, and care shown to our mother and our family during this challenging time.

Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 3, 2026 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle with Pastor Dana Gatewood officiating. Entombment will follow at Wallace Memorial Mausoleum, Clintonville. Friends may gather with the family from 1:00 until time of service at the funeral home.
