James Bennett

James Robert Bennett, 74, of Quinwood passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at his home.

He was born on December 14, 1951 at Rupert; he was the son of the late Herbert Carl Bennett and Norma Texas Russell Bennett.

He was a horseman and cattleman- a world class cowboy. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved his family, brothers and sisters especially his sons.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Lettie Crist, Frida Hannah, Danny Bennett, Eddie Bennett, Rodney Bennett, Kenneth Bennett, Steve Bennett, Larry Bennett and Teddy Bennett.

Survivors include his sons, Bobby Eugene Bennett, James Luther Bennett and Kenneth Robert Bennett; a sister, Linda Bennett Holcomb, a brother, Jimmy Bennett and he also leaves behind his last love, Mary whom he shared the last two years with; extended family and friends.

He will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
