Aaron Clackler

Aaron Billy Clackler, 88, died peacefully on December 30, 2025, with his wife and son by his side.

He was born in Winfield, WV, to Aaron Bolden Clackler and Erna Inez (Fox) Clackler, on March 9, 1937.

Aaron grew up in Ansted, WV, but lived his adult life in the Barberton, OH and Akron, OH areas. He was a machinist at Babcock and Wilcox until retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Brian Lee Clackler; and sister, Joan Clackler Summers.

Surviving is his wife of 43 years, Marilyn Sue (Krager) Clackler; his son, Keith (Christine) Clackler; his daughter, Tanya (Mark) McGinnis; his sisters: Dorothy Phillips, Delores (David) Weaver and Rosemary (Jerry) Legg; several nieces and nephews, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and stepsons: Jack, Michael and Ronald Krager.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Ansted, WV. Visitation will be at 12:00 p.m. with the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Richmond Chapel Cemetery.
