Garry Martin

Garry Wayne Martin, Sr. 68 of Meadow Bridge passed December 23, 2025.

Garry was born January 27, 1957 at Dawson to the late James Ralph and Opal Fern Hinkle Martin.

Garry was a contractor in home construction. He liked helping people and made friends everywhere he went. Garry was liked by everybody. He also loved playing horseshoes.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Toni Lynn Brackenrich Martin; sisters, Tami, Connie and Linda; brothers, Larry, J.R., and Mike Martin and Mike Judy.

Surviving include his daughters, Teresa Lynn Martin of Craigsville, January Dawn (Justin) Blankenship of Lindside, Christina Sarah (Isaac) Wilkinson of Meadow Bridge and Martina Gabrielle (Josh Stevens) Martin of Morehead, KY; son, Garry Wayne Martin, Jr. of Meadow Bridge; 13 Grandchildren whom he loved; sisters, Ruth Hutsenpiller of Dunbar, Kim Martin of Lewisburg and Debbie Lipsey of Rainelle; brothers, Bobby Joe Martin of South Carolina and Sammy Martin of Springdale.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle with Pastor Jim Groves officiating. Burial will follow at the Frantz Cemetery, Dawson, WV.

Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
