Gary Simmons, Jr. “Little Buck”

Gary William Simmons, Jr., “Little Buck” 52, of Rupert passed away on December 9, 2025.

He was born on November 3, 1973 at Ronceverte; he was the son of Gary William Simmons, Sr. and Glenna Mae Bourgeois Simmons.

Buck is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Glenna Ruth Smith and Myrtle Simmons; grandfather, Julian Simmons; aunts, Frances Boyce and Carolyn Neal.

Buck loved working on vehicles and hanging out with his best friend, Anthony Bowden.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Gary Simmons, Sr. of Hines; mother, Glenna Simmons of Rupert; daughters, Aleesia (Turner) McQuain of Morgantown, Ashlynn Simmons of Rupert and Skyelar (Christopher) Estrada of Huntington; son, Ayden Simmons of Rupert; sisters, Madonna (Aubrey) Riffle of Charmco, Rose (William) Coleman of Rupert; Myrtle (Justin) Darby of Hines; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle with Pastor Brian Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may gather with the family from 12:00 until time of service at the funeral home.
