Carl William McClung

Carl William Summers McClung, 90, of White Sulphur Springs passed away on December 4, 2025 at Genesis Healthcare Center in White Sulphur Springs.

Born on March 30, 1935 he was the son of the late Arthur William and Odessa Grey Childers McClung of White Sulphur Springs.

Carl was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and was a United States Air Force and United States Army Reserve Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Jean Hayes McClung.

Carl was a school bus driver and State Road employee among other jobs during his lifetime.

Survivors include his son, Scott McClung and wife Debbie of White Sulphur Springs and his daughter Debbie Hall and husband Gerald of Elkton, VA

Funeral service will be 12:00 noon on Monday, December 8, 2025 with Pastor Lowell O’Dell officiating. Burial will follow at Little Creek Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11:00 am until time of service at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs.
