Carolyn  Amick

Carolyn Janet Amick, 86 years old of Hico, West Virginia, passed away at her residence

with Home Hospice Care.


She was born May, 1939, in Canvas, Nicholas County to Arless W. Amick

and Mary Ruth Rader Amick. In addition to her parents she was preceded

in death by two sons, David Morgan and Matthew Morgan.


Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Marla Morgan and

son Jay Morgan II (Michelle).

Sisters: Patricia Gibbs, Susie Wittford, Cheryl Hamilton Taylor and

Leatha Nickell (Larry).

Brother, Andy Amick (Lois).

Grandchildren: Mattie Jo Fleming, Kennedi Morgan, Noah Ewers,

Victoria Truax and Dylan Ewers

Great-Granddaughter Gabriella and close friend, Joy Mckinney.


Carolyn worked in Tupperware Sales and Hawks Nest State Park.


Services will be held Monday, December 1, 2025 at Sunday Road

Baptist Church at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Greg Smith and Pastor

Allen Donaldson leading the Service. Burial will follow at Restlawn

Memory Gardens of Victor, West Virginia.


Friends may visit at the church from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., the time of the funeral.
