Kimberly Armstrong

Kimberly Lynn Armstrong, born September 2, 1967, in Beckley, WV, passed away at Charleston Area Medical Center on Friday October 9, 2026, after a short illness.

 Kimberly worked as a schoolteacher in Fayette County, WV for several years. She lived in Hico, WV and attended the Chestnut Knob Baptist Church. She is a graduate of Meadow Bridge High School and Concord University.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George Leslie Pugh and Tilda Sharon Pugh of Danese, WV. She is survived by her son, Jacob Lester Armstrong, brother Gordon Leslie Pugh and his wife Stori Lee Pugh and daughters Payton McKenzie Pugh and Kennedy Nicole Pugh of Princeton, WV, brother Eric Lee Pugh of Danese, WV and his daughter Erica Dawn DeBoard and husband Daniel of Midway, GA, and Joshua Lee Pugh and wife Bobbi of Victor, WV.

Following cremation, a remembrance ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, starting at noon at the Chestnut Knob Baptist Church in Layland, WV presided by Pastor Floyd Bolen. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Kimberly is loved by all and will be greatly missed.
