Chris George

Chris George, 69, of Green Valley passed peacefully at his camp of natural causes on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

He was the son of Denzil George and Burnice Losch George.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Chris loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, and 4-wheeling. He worked in Forest Management and was a welder.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Burnice and step-father Marvin Conrad; sisters, Lynn (Earl) Fields, and Angela Trail; stepsisters: Delilah (Manuel) Ramos, and Amanda (Chris) Cudebec; step-brother, Stewart (Lisa) Conrad; nephews: Shane Fields, Craig Trail, Josh (Abi) Trail, Tayven Stuart, Josiah Stuart, and Rayland Brewster; niece, Chastity (David) Faber; and other young nieces.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29 at Carl Cemetery in Carl, WV at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim McClung officiating.

Visitation at the grave site for friends and family will be from noon until start of the service.
