Robert “Bob” Lilly, II

Robert “Bob” Frye Lilly II, 64, of Dawson, West Virginia, passed away at his home on August 24, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

Bob was a husband, father, grandfather, Army veteran, longtime UPS employee, community supporter, and a man with a presence that was difficult to overlook.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Frye Lilly; his mother, Patricia Sue Daniels; and his brother -in-law, Harry Miller.

Bob was a veteran of the United States Army and earned a degree in Business Administration. He had a 44-year career with UPS and was a member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Stephanie Lilly; his children, Robert Lilly III, Christina Lilly, Corey and Terezia Lilly, Cole and Madi Gilkeson, Tucker Lilly, and Gabrielle Lilly; his bonus sons, Kain Foley and wife Myranda, and Owen Schmitt; his grandchildren, Wyatt Lilly, Weylyn Schmitt, Beau Bailes, and Yarka Lilly; and his sister, Sharon Miller.

Visitation will be held at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle, West Virginia, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Billy Pate officiating.

In accordance with Bob’s wishes, he will be laid to rest on the family farm, located at 1003 Bennett Mountain Road, Dawson, WV 24910, immediately following the funeral service.
