Donald Gilkerson

Donald Houston Gilkerson, 81, of Edmond passed away on Sunday early morning, August 9, 2026 at his home.

He was born on April 10, 1945 at Winona; he was the son of the late Joseph Alex Gilkerson and Erma Wilkerson Gilkerson.

Donald was a real outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, trapping, gardening and he was a collector of arrowheads.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Nancy Jean Moses Gilkerson; daughter, Gerri Webster of NC; sons, Joseph (Elizabeth) Gilkerson of Edmond and Kent (Jennifer) Gilkerson of Alderson; sisters, Betty Green of SC and Carolyn Gilkerson of Hilltop; brother, Paul Gilkerson of Oak Hill; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; extended family and friends.

Graveside service will be held at a later date at Nuttall Cemetery.
