Zena Sue Rudisill Morgan, 58, of Lewisburg, passed away Friday, August 7, 2026 at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.
Born on November 26, 1967 at Ronceverte, she was a daughter of Velda Louise Thacker Rudisill and the late Albert Eugene Rudisill.
Zena was a graduate of Union High School; was a licensed nursing home CNA and once owned and operated her own Day Care Center.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Ronceverte, where she dearly loved listening to her husband play the organ. She enjoyed watching Dateline and true crime stories on the television; loved board games and card games; enjoyed listening to the music group, Alabama; but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Scott Morgan; a grandson, Colton Lee Harden Sears; and two brothers, Timothy and Walter Rudisill.
In addition to her mother, Velda, she leaves behind her beloved husband, Barry; daughters, Jessica Lynne Morgan (Donovan Johnson) and Tabitha Clare Morgan (Jordan Sears); sons, Gregory Allen Morgan (Jhonna), Steven Wayne Morgan (Samantha Brant), and Kenneth Barry Morgan; her beloved grandchildren, Orien Joseph Cosgro, Gabriel Wayne Morgan, Emily Rae Morgan, Kinsley Everly Joy Sears, and Julia Lynne Morgan; three sisters, Esther Miller, Reesa Fields and Leona Rudisill. She also leaves behind special friends, John “Ju-Ju” Miller and Donna VanBuren; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 11, 2026 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Ronceverte, with Rev. Christopher Brewster officiating.
