Roy Buckland

Roy E. Buckland, (77), of Covington, VA passed away on July 27, 2026. He was born on January 5th, 1949 in White Sulphur Springs, WV to the late Norman E. and Alma Saunders Buckland.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Cherryl, his beloved granddaughter Shaylen, his brother Ronnie and his wife Pam, and a sister Jeannie and her husband Bruce, along with his nieces and nephews Shelly, Ryan, Melissa, Debra, Shannon, and Robbie.

Other than his parents he is preceded in death by a wife Charlotte, and his daughter Lisa, a sister Carol, and a nephew Chad.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday August 11, 2026 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs, WV at 2:00 PM friends may gather from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Officiating the service will be David Brown, Jody Lipham, Ronnie Buckland, and Lowell O’Dell.
