Lucille Hill

Lucille Hill, 83, of Lewisburg, WV, formerly of Glade Springs, Virginia, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

Lucille was born November 27, 1942 and was a daughter of the late Theodore Pat Workman and Hazel G. Holmes Workman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darold Hill; siblings, Ruth McCoy, Hubert Workman, Rosa Bennett, Durvie Workman, Jerry Workman, Marlin Workman and Dottie Clinebell.

She is survived by her children, Douglas (Billie) Thomas of Clintonville and Michelle (Matt) Curry of Lewisburg , and adopted children, Mike (Debbie) Bise; grandchildren, Michael Bowes, Kayla Bowes, and Jacob Burns; great grandchildren, Greyson Burns and Amethyst McGehee. Also surviving are her siblings, Brad Workman, Curtis Workman, Linda Spencer and Donna Bostic.

Services will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, with Pastor Wes Comer officiating.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
