Salena Pektelidis

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Salena Pektelidis, on Thursday, July 2, 2026 in Crawley, WV. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Born June 9, 1997, she was the daughter of Robert Walton and Marianne McCafferty Walton.

Salena found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved going for car rides, spending time outdoors, and making treasured trips to North Carolina to visit her sister and beloved nieces. The moments she shared with those she loved brought her the greatest happiness, and those memories will continue to bring comfort to her family.

Though Salena’s time with us was far too short, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her warm heart, her gentle nature, and the special bond she shared with her family.

She leaves behind a legacy of love that will never be forgotten. May she rest in peace, forever loved and forever missed.

Salena is survived by her loving mother, Marianne Walton; her father, Robert Walton; her sister, Desiree MacLean (Elijah); her cherished nieces, Alayna and Olivia; her aunt, Clara Lloyd; her uncle, Daniel McCafferty; and numerous other family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Services will be held at Wallace & Wallace, Rainelle, on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Matt Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expense.
