Hubert VanMeter

Hubert Lee VanMeter, 75, of Hinton passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Summers Healthcare Center, Hinton following a long illness.

He was born on June 25, 1950; he was the son of the late Ervin Charles VanMeter and Bertha Crystal Cade VanMeter.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Albert , George, Wilbert, Charles, Denver and Frederick VanMeter; sisters, Piney Myers, Betty Soos and Violet Richmond.

Hubert was a gentle kind soul.

Survivors include one brother, Johnny VanMeter, nieces and nephews; extended family.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2026 at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to defray the cos.
