Tamera “Tammy” Lynn Cunningham Fraley 66 of White Sulphur Springs unexpectedly passed away on March 25, 2026 at Lewis Gale Alleghany Regional Hospital.
She was born on Christmas Eve, 1959 in the city of Baltimore, MD to her late parents, Carl Dexter Cunningham Sr. and Dorothy Mae Street Cunningham.
In addition to her parents and grandparents, she is preceded in death by father of her youngest son, William Edward Fraley; her oldest son Trevor Lee; multiple aunts, uncles, cousins.
Tammy was a graduate of Greenbrier East High School. She enjoyed sewing, being a homemaker as well as having a record 30 different jobs from ages 14 – 35, and most recently word search puzzles. Although she never committed to any particular denomination or church, she grew in very strong Christian values and read the Holy Bible. She loved her entire family with her whole heart and will be missed.
Surviving include the father of her daughter, David William Brewster (Joan) of McKenzie, TN; her daughter, Tiffany Dawn Brewster, (close family friend Bradley “Brad” Burns); her youngest son, Jefferson Edward Fraley (Madison Abigail) both of White Sulphur Springs; brother, Carl Dexter Cunningham, Jr (Laura Lee and their children and granddaughters; Kristina “Kristy” Marie Bigler (Ronald “Ron” and daughter Verity Morgan); Karyl Mae Cunningham (companion James Hollingshead); sister, Deanna Yvonne Shamsher and her children and grandchildren; Nafisa Taizoon Kennedy (Bryce and their sons, Winston Joseph, Dexter Colton and Theodore Ace); Ali-Ahmad Taizoon Shamsher (his children, Noah Benjamin, Samuel Isaiah and Zoe Rose); Many cousins survive her as well, but two very special ones have been very involved in her life since the passing of a cousin by marriage in 2023. They were like a niece and a great nephew to her, they are Emily Nicole Blankenship and Leland Allen Blankenship.
Visitation will be 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 31, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs.
Funeral service will be 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Sizemore officiating followed by a 2:30 graveside service at the Green Hill Cemetery at Hettie, WV.
