Franklin “Frank” Wayne Slussar, 75, of Nallen went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston following a long illness.
He was born on March 18, 1950 at Webster Springs; he was the son of the late Freeland Sylvester Slussar and Eva Collins Slussar.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Freddie Slussar and a sister, Kathy Slussar; an infant grandchild, Gabriel Wayne.
Frank was a deacon of the Nutterville Apostolic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting and splitting wood. He enjoyed anything that was outdoors. His biggest enjoyment was he loved going to church and spending time with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Jeanie Nutter Slussar; daughters, Regina (David) Kincaid of Quinwood, Maggie (Edgel) Jarrett of Nutterville and Tonya(Scott) Swink of Nutterville; grandchildren, Coby, Alyssa, Haley, Noah, Zeno, Faith, Doug, Cody and Zeke; a special mother-in-law, Elma Nutter who was like a mom; sisters, Jeannie Bostic of Rupert, WV, Tammy Slussar and Brenda Slussar both of Ohio; brothers, Alvin Slussar and Okey Slussar both of OH, Arthur Slussar of Rupert; Danny (Teresa) Slussar of NC; in laws, nieces, nephews ; his loved dog, T.J. ; extended family and friends.
Service will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Nutterville Apostolic Church with Pastor Wesley Nutter and Pastor David Kincaid officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery. Friends may gather with the family from 12:00 until time of service at the church.
