Gary Legg

Gary Ray Legg, 79, of Hines passed away on March 10, 2026 at Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg.

He was born on January 5, 1947 at Rupert; he was the son of the late David Allen Legg and Texie Gaye Hamm Legg.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kasey Malcomb; siblings, Karen McClelland, Veljean Heaster, Robert Legg and Jimmy Legg.

Gary was a coal miner for 40 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Surviving are his wife, Dolores; daughters, Kerry (Alex) Laino , Nancy (Stephen) Midkiff and Cherie Keener; sons, Paul (Wendi) Kirk and Eric (Jennifer) Franklin; siblings, Kenneth Legg, Frankie Legg, Nancy Zimmerman and Veretta Price; grandchildren, Derek, Erin, Kelsey, Christopher, Olivia, Layla, Josh, Paris, Kayden, Paul III, Courtney, Brian and Kaitlin; many great grandchildren; nephews, nieces; extended family and friends.

Per his wishes, he will be cremated and no services.
