Brian Potter

Brian “Binky” Potter, 79, of Victor passed on Monday, January 12, 2026 at his home.

Brian loved his family; he was a kind and loving husband to his wife, Carol, of 54 years, and the best father ever. He was a strong Christian, a member of Ansted Baptist Church and enjoyed teaching Sunday School after having spent over 40 years as a teacher and educator for Fayette County.

He was the son of Clyde Potter and Sarah Kathryn Simms Potter.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Carol Deitz Potter; daughter, Briana (Earl Franklin Bailes) Pritt; son, Brian Potter, II; brother, David Simms; and granddaughter, Sarah Pritt.

Services will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Ansted Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jack Eades, Pastor Randy Spurgeon, and Pastor John Skaggs officiating. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens.

Visitation for friends will be from noon until time of service.
