Arthur Propps, Sr.

Arthur Gene Propps, Sr., 81, of Woodbridge, Virginia passed away on December 14, 2025 at Burke Health Rehab Center.

He was born on May 17, 1944 at Ramsey, WV; he was the son of the late Larkin Propps and Verna Evelyn Propps.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy R. Propps; sister, Jo Ann Sexton and brothers, Robert Propps and Calvin Propps.

Arthur is a US Army veteran. He had worked in home repair and loved piddling around the house.

Survivors include his son, Gene Propps; extended family and friends.

Service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 3, 2025 at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Chapel, Ansted with Pastor Glen Kuhn officiating. Burial will follow at Clifty Cemetery, Hico. Friends may gather with the family at the funeral chapel from 12:00 until time of service.
